Creek Cabin
With a base of natural wood tones combined with painted woods and a palette of lilac, plum, navy and cream Cabin creek is my attempt to show that cabin living doesn't have to be rough and rugged. Sat on the edge of the lake with 360 degree views of natures subtle colours. this home is a semi reflection of these colours. Feminine and cosy and a distinct country charm.This cabin is far removed from rustic lodges of deer heads and antlers over the fireplace. My goal was to incorporate natural wood and allow its mellow colours to blend with pretty shades to create a welcoming gentle interior.

The exterior is a mix of medium oak and grey pine. This single storey one bedroomed property has to the front a covered wood & glass porch, an entrance hall, large living area, a narrow kitchen diner that lead to a side garden room. To the opposite end of the house is the bedroom & compact bathroom.

Welcome to Cabin Creek on the shores of the lake, come explore the wraparound garden and decked terrace areas.
The garden room leads directly in from the side of the garden through replica glass doors found in the front porch to the house.
Soft lilacs and natural wood in this area set the tone for the colours throughout this cabin.
Please leave muddy boots and shoes in the porchway before coming through into the entrance hall.
Bathroom
Small in size but offering a luxury tub and a double sink & toilet and all the fine toiletries you'd expect in a hotel. this bijou bathroom is a great place to soak your cares away.
Kitchen
The kitchen with its fairly narrow proportions has a distinct cottage charm with the natural wood floor and ceiling blending with cream painted units, furniture and half clad walls.

Bedroom1
Soft tones of the lilac harmonise with the mellow wood to create this pretty bedroom ,which also incorporate painted wood furnishing, navy accent walls and feature wall of framed plum decorative fabric.
Living and Dining Room
The main sitting area has slightly stronger colours with the introduction of plum, navy and soft grey. The floor. ceiling and fireplace all in natural wood.
This passageway leads off the sitting area to the bedroom.
Corridor
The sitting room taken from the corridor is the main living area and provides a welcoming comfortable space with natural wood running through this home and showing the versatility it affords when blended with almost any other colour.
