Multi-Generational Living
This home was designed to keep 3 generations of family together, while still providing privacy for each -- a couple and their pre-teen son, and grandma
The main house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A covered walkway connects to the mother-in-law quarters. There is a shed in the back that has been converted into a studio for the wife's sewing projects.
A peek at the covered walkway that connects the 2 homes. You can see a bit of the studio through the openings.
The home is styled with a tendency toward mid-century modern, with a little added zen

The master suite has a platform bed, and the vanity section of the bathroom is just behind the storage that doubles as a headboard
The pair of columnar sinks are finished in stacked slate
The wardrobe acts as a wall to separate a small sitting area and the bathing area of the bathroom

A small area behind the wardrobe for reading, watching tv

A workspace off of the platform is a good spot for doing homework
The wife is a pretty good seamstress, so converting the shed into a studio for her projects was an upgrade that has made her very happy.
Oh wow!! What an honor! Thank you so much!!
