Genova, Italy, renovated apartment

The apartment nests in an 18th century “palazzo” in the northern port-city of Genova, a once rich kingdom with powerful trade and formidable navy! The owners wished to maintain the original marble wall and fireplace that once were part of the baths of the “palazzo”, and keep this corner as a nook for reading, music and conversations with friends after enjoying a dinner of pasta and wine. The colours of sea and sun are prominent to match the colours of Genova, and the white canvas serves to let the light multiply and the blued and yellows pop!
