Good evening, I have a problem with the '' Floor Opening '' command in the '' Create Room '' panel, it hasn't pierced the floor for a few days, but only the perimeter of the rectangle on the floor itself remains visible. I need to use it because I have to make top view views of a first floor that the staircase reaches from the floor below, I could use the '' edit floor 'command but the rectangular hole is much faster. Hi which level are you opening? If it is the upper floor, you may add vertex if your flooring doesn't work. Edit floor and then add vertex to create the opening. If you are referring to ground level opening as I experienced as well myself that sometimes it doesn't open so I use both floor opening and sunken ground option. If you have a custom build/floor covering on the area you want to open, remember to create the opening hole first in the custom modelling. Hope this helps.

Hi, we tested that the "Floor Opening" is working and it can create a hole on the floor. Can you please send us maybe a screenshot showing the error?

It is not a paid feature everyone can access that function. You just need to be in the 2d view/ plane view and click outside. Then look at the options on your right with all the custom functions just scroll all the way down and you'll see edit floor. That will take you to adding vertex option. You may as well try out your floor opening option in the create function as homestyler staff showed in the photo below, maybe it is already working because sometimes it is just a glitch on that particular moment.

I attached the screenshot, as you can see the perimeter of the '' floor opening '' is visible, but the attic is not pierced; I tried to insert the floor opening directly in 3D, in roam 4 or in plan, but the result is the same ..Thanks @ Homestyler Official

Thanks, sorry for the late reply, but i had not received the notification: I try to insert it on the second floor, I have used it many times but unfortunately it has not worked for over a month now. I didn't understand what you mean by adding a vertex ... I thought it was a momentary problem because a friend entered the '' floor opening '' and it worked..you are my problem at this point... @ Rutchevelle Den Ouden, ND
