The former People's House of Countess Panina.In 1900, Sofia Vladimirovna purchased land beyond the Obvodny Canal at the corner of Tambovskaya and Prilukskaya Streets.The architect she invited, Yu.Yu. Benois, designed an ensemble of two buildings connected by an inner courtyard-garden for summer outdoor activities.Project for the chamber musical ＂Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves＂with a live orchestra based on the fairy tale by V. Smekhov to music by V. Berkovsky and S. Nikitin.
