Welcome to Avontuur. A safari lodge located within 300 yards of an African game preserve. The lodge sleeps 8, and has a romantic feel with safari memorabilia throughout. We have Jeeps for our guests that are driven by expert guides. Enjoy your "adventure"!

This is the family suite. It has 2 Queen-sized beds and private bath. Each suite at Avontuur has its own elevated terrace, accessed through the stairs right outside the sliding doors.

WOW WOW WOW!!! OHH WOW.... this is definitely my new favourite design from you Winnie ... and that's a hard choice considering all the wonderful designs that have gone before...
I was' in love' with this lodge from the moment I saw that tranquil opening shot and every room, every photo only increased my affection. You pitched the atmosphere brilliantly.. the interior décor with the accents of animal skin prints added authentic flavour that a guest to this area would expect and it also gave your home such a stylish individuality. The great room and the dinning room where undoubtable my favorites and I still haven't made my mind up which of the gorgeous bedrooms I prefer. So many other wonderful aspects such as the little individual balconies and those exquisite bathrooms my lists goes on and on. Lastly the outside area complete with its own giraffe plus jeeps to entertain the guests on their African adventure... Ohh Winnie what an absolute treat your lodge was, and even though I will never get to visit it will live long in my memory. BRAVO!

Oh how wonderful is this private Safari lodge in the wild bush!! There's a wonderful feeling of calm and tranquility in the interior design and a lot of good value for money included in the package!! The building was done so sympathetic and respectful of the environment and melting into nature! Love the giraffe coming out to say hello!! This will be a good Avontuur for all nature lovers and a must to put on the list if you want a 5 star experience!!
